Law Marketing Association International Annual Conference 2013

I am in Las Vegas for the 2013 LMA International Annual Conference and excited to be here. I love the energy of conferences and the opportunity to learn new internet marketing techniques. It is also my first time to Las Vegas and won’t be my last.

While I have been going to web marketing conferences since the 1990’s like search engine strategies in New York, this is my first vertical specific conference. The Law Marketing Association is a leading authority for legal marketing internationally, so this one should be truly informative.

Some highlights are as follows:

More than 1,200 legal marketers from law firms of all sizes and locations

  • 4 educational tracks
  • 22 sessions
  • Over 102 law firm marketing and development speakers
  • 17 sponsors
  • 38 exhibitors
  • Several networking events to choose from
  • Housed in a 61-story, 4000-room structure

I didn’t register for the Pre-Conference Program today (Monday, April 8, 2013) but they look interesting such as:

Law Firm Competitive Intelligence: A Roadmap for Success

and

Content Marketing: Learn How to Create, Implement and Sustain a Successful Content Marketing Program

Tonight I will attend a welcome party at The GOLD Boutique Nightclub & Lounge at ARIA Resort (the hotel where I am staying that is where the conference is) – Sponsored by Brown Rudnick. There is a big stress on networking at this conference which is great since I often get as much from the attendees as the conference workshops (both of which are essential) and have an opportunity to make new potential contacts for my law firm Internet marketing services.
